Life is not fair.

I went to a drug store this morning and saw this old woman who looked very poor. She was a beggar. She gave the saleslady a small cup which contained some coins that she got from begging. The saleslady started counting the coins then took out a piece of medicine from the drawer. She handed the medicine and a biscuit to the old woman, which made her very happy. She was very thankful to the saleslady.

 What makes me sad is that the old woman gave her every single money that she got from begging just to buy a piece of medicine. God knows how long it took her just to have that amount of money for her medicine. She could have used the money to buy herself some food, but she used it for a ONE PIECE of medicine. I pitied her. I pitied her a lot. I wished that there something I can do to help her, but all I could do was to give her alms. So sad. :(
